All beaches in the Virgin Islands are open to the public. Day passes are not required to visit Secret Harbour's beach. Simply ask a taxi to bring you to Secret Harbour Beach Resort. Please bring a towel. Chairs, umbrellas, and the pool are for hotel guests however you can rent chairs from the dive shop on the beach. You are also welcome to visit the restaurant. We look forward to welcoming you.

There are many great restaurants in Red Hook which is a 5 min taxi ride from the resort. Best to search for restaurants in Red Hook St Thomas so you can see current menu options.
Yes! Please bring reef safe sunscreen. Also suggest bug spray as some folks react to noseeums that are present in all USVI beaches especially at Dawn and dusk. Sunscreen and bug spray are also available at the Aqua Action watersport center located on the beach.
Rooms do not have a personal washer and dryer however the resort offers laundry service that is on site. We have mesh bags(one for darks and one for light colors). You simply put your clothes in to the mesh bags and clothes are washed and dried in the bags.
Yes - all hillside units have an ocean view. Please note that access to the beach and restaurants is down the hillside via stairs

Secret Harbour’s beach is a protected marine park and as such no dogs are allowed. The only exception is approved support animals.

The need to rent a car will depend on how much exploring you want to do. Most guests take a taxi from the airport and use taxis to get around. Please be aware we drive on the left and the roads are narrow and hilly with very little signage, so it is quite a lot to get used to. The town of Red Hook is a 5 min taxi ride from the resort and there you will find shops, restaurants, grocery store and the ferry to the island of St John.
Walking from the resort into the town of Red Hook is not recommended. Our roads are narrow and hilly with many blind spots and do not have sidewalks. For this reason, we recommend taking a 5min taxi ride.
Most visitors to St Thomas simply take taxis everywhere as our roads are quite hilly and we drive on the left. Also, there is very little signage so it is quite challenging to find your way. Secret Harbour is only a 5 minute taxi ride to the town of Red Hook where you will find lots of shops, restaurants, grocery stores, and the ferry to the island of St John.

Visitors are welcome to enjoy Secret Harbour’s restaurant and swimming beach. Please bring your own towel if you plan to visit the beach. Visitors may rent chairs and watersport equipment from our watersport provider located at the end of the beach by the restaurant. Please note that Secret Harbour lounge chairs, umbrellas, towels, swimming pool, fitness center, and tennis courts are for resort guests.
When you book a condominium at Secret Harbour you book a room type: Beachfront or Hillside Studio, 1-bedroom, 2-bedroom, or 3-bedroom size. The specific unit will be assigned 12-24 hours prior to arrival. All units are privately owned and are assigned on a rotating basis by room type.
Secret Harbour is a family friendly resort. Smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited at Secret Harbour with the exception of the outdoor smoking gazebo located near the restaurant. This means there is no smoking/vaping in any of the units, patio/balcony, stairwells, beach, restaurant and grounds of the resort. We appreciate your cooperation. Violation may result in fines.
